| " San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge" oil on canvas 48" x 36" 2007 One of my favorite San Francisco landmarks, connecting Marin to San Francisco, is the Golden Gate Bridge. Each time we visit the bridge is a special day. A couple celebrates their wedding with close friends and family nearby. The wedding photographer was taking many pictures of the Newlyweds with the bridge in the background. Other families and friends surround pathways along the bridge from the top of the Vista Point on the Marin side talking, walking and playing with the towering Golden Gate as the backdrop. My view captured the full length of the bridge overlooking the city as far as I could see from the North Bay side to the Presidio and the entrance to the bay. The sun was setting casting an amazing glow. Passing on the bridge are a never ending stream of cars and trucks. A boat carves its way into the bay as the city prepares for another good night. Sold |
