" Lone Cypress Tree in Monterey "
48"x 36" oil on canvas

After hearing my husband talk so many times about the famous
Cypress Tree we finally took the 17 mile drive.  It was a beautiful
day in November that we left Santa Clara County to watch the sun
setting over the Pacific Sea.  The Cypress was held tall illuminated
by the sun as a living lighthouse guiding all to their way.

The day was warm, the sky clear, and the shore was alive with
the powerful yet soothing sounds of the waves rolling along the
infamous Pebble Beach.
